On February 19th, 2016, Lewis Apartment Communities held its 16th annual Goldy Awards – a yearly ceremony recognizing the hard work, customer service, and accomplishments of Lewis team members.
What are The Goldy Awards?
The Goldy Awards are named after one of our company’s founders, Goldy Lewis and is a tribute to her passion and commitment to excellent customer service. Once a year, the Lewis Apartment Communities closes early to celebrate Lewis employees and their dedication to providing superior customer service to current and prospective residents.

You might be familiar with the Golden Globes or Video Music Awards and the style in which the nominees and winners are presented. Well, our employees at the Goldy Awards are recognized in a similar fashion. A category is presented with a list of nominees and the winner is given an award. Some of those categories include:
- Leasing Consultant of the Year
- Maintenance Technician of the Year
- Groundskeeper of the Year
- Rookie of the Year
- Community Director of the Year
- Night Service Manager of the Year
- Events MVP
- Top Sales Performer of the Year
The winner is invited on stage to accept their customized award and is congratulated by their Regional Director and Vice President of Property Management.
