What is your role at Lewis:

Evelyn: I am an Information Center Representative and my role is to represent the Lewis Group of Companies in our master-planned communities. The main goal is to provide a seamless connection between the guest builder’s sales office and the prospects, as well as to promote the enriched lifestyle the amenities can provide. In this role, we provide friendly and professional customer service in person, over the phone, and by email. We conduct amenity tours, follow up with community leads, and assist in marketing signage drives and assessments. We provide builder and property management support, as well as assist in master-planned events and research.

What is your favorite part of the job:

Michelle: My favorite part of the job is getting to talk to the prospects that come into the New Home Information Center. It’s fun to tour them around the Parkhouse and see them get excited about living here. I also enjoy showing them a slide show of our neighborhoods and model homes to see which ones will be the best fit! It’s interesting to find out why they want or need to move and why they chose The Preserve.

What makes a great leader:

Michelle: There are several qualities that make a great leader. Leaders who treat their teams with respect gain respect in return. Clear communication and positive encouragement are key. I am lucky to say that we have these qualities in our Manager, Monica Heidecke. She trusts her team and shows kindness to her employees. She has also had the flexibility to solve problems in an ever-changing workplace including staff shortages and Covid!

What's your most memorable work story:

Terry: Speaking of helping people find their home, my most memorable person to date has been Rafael Flores, a man that I spent a couple of weeks speaking to about Greenway; his enthusiasm was palpable even over email, and we spent time discussing his plans, dreams and goals for his future home. He was committed to getting ahold of the Greenway team and his determination was inspiring. It was lucky chance that as the Grand Opening event ended, I passed by a man and his beautiful family posing in front of the Greenway Plan 3, proudly holding “Just Signed!” signage. I paused to congratulate them, and Rafael formally introduced himself to me after realizing I was the person he’d been emailing for updates and details. It was very moving and fulfilling to know that my hard work at keeping him up to date with the points of contact and his determination to securing a home paid off in the form of a gorgeous new house for him and his family, and his appreciation for my effort was profound and sincere.
