Lewis Breakfast 2025

What's your favorite part of your job?

One of my favorite parts of being a recruiter is the moment I get to offer someone their dream job. There’s nothing quite like hearing the excitement and gratitude in their voice when I deliver the good news. It’s so rewarding knowing I played a part in helping someone land a position that will shape their future. That happiness and sense of accomplishment makes every challenge worth it.

What small actions of yours have had a lasting impact on you?

I’ve found that it’s often the smallest actions that leave the most lasting impressions. A kind word or a simple gesture of support can lift someone’s spirits when they least expect it. Taking a few minutes to really listen to someone or offering help without being asked has helped me build trust and strengthen relationships in ways that last far beyond the moment. These little acts of kindness, thoughtfulness, and consideration have created a lasting positive impact, not only on others, but on myself as well. It’s a reminder that you don’t always need grand gestures to make a meaningful difference.

Anything new you’ve learned lately?

I just started golfing and I’m really enjoying it so far. One of my favorite parts is being outdoors, surrounded by fresh air and nature while I play. It’s such a great way to disconnect and focus entirely on the game—when you’re out there, it’s really the only thing you can think about. It’s a nice break from the usual distractions and has become a peaceful way to clear my mind. I’m excited to keep improving and spending more time out on the course.

What values guide your career?

The values that guide my career path as a recruiter are honesty, empathy, and a commitment to helping others succeed. I believe in being transparent with both candidates and hiring managers, ensuring that everyone has clear expectations throughout the process. Empathy is key, as I strive to understand each person’s unique needs and aspirations, matching them with the right opportunities. Ultimately, my goal is to make a positive impact in people’s careers and help them achieve their professional dreams.

What were you doing before Lewis?

Before transitioning into my current role, I worked as a transaction coordinator for realtors. It was an exciting and fast-paced position where I played a key role in managing all the details of real estate transactions. From organizing paperwork to ensuring deadlines were met, I helped keep everything on track, so the process ran smoothly for both clients and agents. It was a great experience that honed my organizational skills and taught me the importance of clear communication and attention to detail—skills that I carry with me today.
