Phillip Oh is the Senior Regional Recruiter at The Lewis Group of Companies. He is a Southern California native who enjoys the outdoors, family time, Disneyland trips, Star Wars, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Dodgers.
What was your career path before Lewis?
Before joining Lewis, my career journey was diverse and ever-evolving. I began as a Pastry Chef at the Ritz-Carlton and Spago, then pivoted to law, earning my degree in 2000 and working in mediation for the L.A. County Bar Association. In 2005, I moved into real estate and mortgage lending, and by 2015, I transitioned into legal recruiting with Robert Half Legal, eventually joining Lewis in 2018.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
One of the most rewarding parts of my job as a recruiter is helping people find opportunities that align with their goals and passions. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about being the bridge between a talented candidate and the right role—watching someone’s confidence grow through the hiring process and seeing them thrive in a position they’re excited about. Every successful placement feels like a win for everyone involved.

What has your career path looked like?
In 2018, I began my journey with Lewis as a Recruiter. Since then, I’ve advanced to Regional Recruiter and now serve as the Senior Regional Recruiter, helping shape teams and careers across the organization.

What’s been your happiest memory of late?
It’s been a joy watching my two amazing daughters grow up, and I’m proud to share that my youngest is graduating from high school later this month.
