Tell us a little bit about yourself?

I work at the Enclave at Homecoming Terra Vista as the Business Manager right now! In the past, I worked as a leasing consultant at Terra Vista Apartments and a community administrator at Del Mar. On my own time, I enjoy playing music with friends and family. I am a 19-year-experienced guitarist and am a full-time father raising my 3-year-old kid with my fiancé.

What drew you to working at Lewis?

Easily, the culture;. Prior to working with Lewis, I moved into the Del Mar Apartments in 2020, and my leasing consultant at the time was Justin Vasquez (current Community Director at Green Valley Apartments in Chino Hills). As someone who has spent much of my career in sales, Justin surprised me by making the application, move-in, and consulting processes so simple that it was a no-brainer to relocate to Del Mar. He told me all about the culture Lewis had to offer and even urged me to apply, so I asked him about his job at the time because I liked his professionalism and wonderful attitude. Before I knew it, I was working as a leasing consultant at Terra Vista Apartments.

What’s your favorite part of your job?

Interacting with residents at the communities I’ve worked at and meeting individuals within Lewis Management. Lewis hires fantastic and talented individuals, making it simple to network and build partnerships within the organization. Another significant aspect of my work that I really like is interacting with the residents. The ability to network with people outside of work or meet others who share similar interests makes the job much more enjoyable. It is one thing to be able to go above and beyond for your residents & community, but it means more to me to be acknowledged by some of your favorites at my community, and that is what motivates me to keep improving.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I’m a “Semi-Professional” guitarist with 19 years of expertise in addition to being a full-time father. Right now, I’m working on various musical projects with friends and family, playing in bars, on large stages, and sometimes even traveling for performances. When I’m not performing, I like to record and produce in my home studio for clients I’ve worked with at music studios in the past as well as folks I’ve met through networking in the music industry.

What’s your most recent proudest achievement?

One of my biggest personal achievements recently was being invited by Live Nation for the country band I play in to open up for country artist Walker Hayes in Boston Massachusetts. It was an all expense paid trip to travel, stay, eat and perform a sold-out show at the Leader Bank Pavilion, the largest venue I’ve ever played in my music career.

What values guide your career path?

Integrity, continuous learning, and collaboration guide my career path. I believe in doing what’s right, staying adaptable by learning new skills, and working effectively with others to achieve shared goals.
