What drew you to working at Lewis?
What's your favorite part of your job?

What's your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is certainly the extraordinary individuals I’ve had the privilege of working alongside. I believe that there is a “Lewis” personality type, as everyone I’ve met here has been either incredibly outgoing, immensely kind, or exceptionally civil. Some people even display all three of those at once, which I strive to be. All these people have affected me and their personalities have changed me for the better.

What's one professional skill you've nailed?
How do you stay busy outside of the office?
I love going on adventures with my dog, Cheyenne. I also just enjoy the outdoors in general. I have visited 14 national parks spanning 8 states. To anyone who feels tired of the concrete and plaster that surrounds them: I would recommend going outside and reconnecting with the earth– it’s a cathartic experience. I also enjoy music, whether that be playing it, listening to it, or attending concerts for it. If I am really bored, I love learning as much as I can about literally anything and everything, so I will watch a documentary or read various articles and publications. It’s always good to have a library of trivial and useless knowledge at your disposal!

Who has inspired your career path most?
That would be Caseie Rouse. Caseie is not so much a person as she is an indomitable force of nature. Caseie was also the one who had brought me on board with Lewis; I knew from the first interview, there was something different about Caseie. Her presence was strong but welcoming, and once I had the opportunity to work for her, I saw just how steadfast her resolve is. She was always the first to volunteer, to take those tough calls, handle those difficult situations, and do so all while being as kind and unshaken as can be. Caseie always had told me to “just go for it” and that the worse that I could do is fail and learn from it. She instilled the idea in me that while we may not be perfect, we can improve to a better version of ourselves. In her words, she’d say “All mistakes here can be fixed” which I always found to be reassuring. Thank you, Caseie; for getting me here.
