How do you stay busy outside of work?
Every Saturday morning for the past seven years, my dad and I have kept up a tradition of playing disc golf together. It’s something I really look forward to each week—it’s our time to catch up, compete a little, and just enjoy the outdoors.
I also love going to concerts and checking out different breweries when I get the chance. Music and good craft beer are definitely high on my list of favorite ways to unwind!

What is your favorite part about your job?
Another part of the job I really value is being the one to have those tough conversations with residents. It might sound unusual, but there’s something incredibly rewarding about starting off with a difficult conversation and ending it with a handshake and mutual respect. Knowing I was able to help someone and turn the situation around gives me a real sense of satisfaction.
What is your proudest work/non-work achievement?
Outside of work, my proudest achievement is being a husband and a dad. I’ve always known I wanted to be a father, even when I wasn’t sure about anything else. From the moment we found out my wife was pregnant to now—nearly four years after our daughter was born—I’m still blown away that I get to live this life with such an amazing wife, daughter, and son. Being a dad is truly better than I ever imagined, and it’s the role I’m most proud of.

Who brings out the best in you?
From the moment I met her, I knew I had found my soulmate. She’s my greatest support system, my inspiration, and without a doubt, the one who brings out the very best in me.
Reach out to Jeremy at Jeremy.Gravelle@LewisMC.com if you agree that our futures are shaped by healthy habits rather than big decisions, like F.M. Alexander said, “People do not decide their futures, they decide their habits and their habits decide their futures” to be more mindful of small, consistent choices. Or if you choose to run to problems rather than from problems because you’d rather have a difficult conversation now than have it forever. And last, to congratulate him on his unwavering commitment to being the best husband and father he can be with power and passion to shape his family’s lives for the better.
